Final SDK now available
Get your modding hats on, the final SDK for ET:QW has finally launched and features a wealth of goodies to help you make those fanmaps and mods as awesomely awesome as you could wish for.

1.4 Issues
There have been one or two issues cropping up since the launch of the 1.4 update.
These issues ARE being worked on and a hotfix has already been issued for the server crash problem experienced by a lot of players.

Patch 1.4 (and Master Server down time)
News direct from the official site -
"We've just received the "all clear" from Activision QA for the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars 1.4 update and we're now getting things ready to roll this thing out to you. To prepare for the update, the ETQW master server will be going down for approximately one hour starting at 1600 UK time / 10 AM Central. You will not be able to log into your online account during this time.
When the 1.4 update is released, you will be able to grab it via the in-game auto-update tool and we'll also be posting a list of download mirrors here on the ETQW Community Site. If you missed Locki's blog post outlining the major items in 1.4, you can read that right here."

For those of you waiting (not so) patiently for the 1.4 Update, good news; 1.4 is being checked and retested as we speak and should be coming in the (hopefully) not-too-distant future.
The Demo has also been further updated to included some of the more popular aspects of the finished game; including the Training Mode to give new players a taste of the full thing.
And finally; the Final SDK is also being scheduled for release fairly soon and is set to include some additional source media packages.

CAL launches 2 ET:QW Divisions

Quake Wars 1.4 Update - Incoming
Yes it does seem a little strange to announce a 1.4 update without first revealing the launch of a 1.3 .. but don't panic. 1.3 is only for the Korean version of the game. (explanation here)
The list of updates and upgrades for this new version is really impressive and should please a lot of people who have been holding out for MORE for some time.
Including goodies like new user interface items; basic training; auto-downloads and ETQW: TV (woohoo!!), 1.4 will be available very soon for download.
